Overview
Itinerary: Bishkek – Chon Kemin Nature Park – Kel-Kogur Lake – Kyzart – Kelimchi Valley – Son-Kul Lake – Tamchy – Bishkek
Description: An adventures horse riding tour with long camping trail through the hidden valley and open meadows in the foothills of Tien-Shan Mountains. For many years, horses played a great role for nomads and now you can ride them in our Tien Shan Mountains. During this tour, you will ride a horse from Chon-Kemin Gorge to the mountain lake “Son-Kul” 3016m. You will meet shepherds and nomad is on the trail and can enjoy unique, untouched nature, mountains, lake, Mountain Rivers, forests of fir-trees.
Itinerary
Airport – Bishkek (40 km 40 min)
Arrival in Bishkek. Meeting at the airport “Manas”, transfer to the hotel. Rest.
After lunch in local restaurant Bishkek sightseeing tour: visit Ala-Too square, Oak tree Park, Osh bazar (open market), Open Art Gallery, Opera and Ballet Theatre, Art Museum, History Museum and etc. Dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in a hotel. Meals: no
Bishkek – Chon Kemin Nature Park –Kel-Kogur Lake (120 km, 2 hrs.+5-6hrs horse riding).
Breakfast. Transfer early morning to Chon Kemin Nature Park (drive 1,5 hour). Meet with horseman and horses, load all necessary stuffs and start horseback riding to Kel-Kogur lake (2000m). Lunch-picnic on the way. Then continue ride through amazing landscape of Chon-Kemi National Park. Dinner and accommodation in tent near the lake. Meals: full board
Kel-Kogur Lake -Chon Kemin Nature Park (200 km horse riding 5-6hrs)
Breakfast. Back on the horse for the return trip. You will have again a very nice ride from rocky path to large and amazing panoramas on the lake all along the road. Dinner and overnight in Guesthouse. Meals: full board
Kyzart village – Kelimchi valley (150km 3hrs+5hrs horse riding)
Breakfast and early morning transfer to Kyzart village (150 km 3 hours). Horseback riding through the Kyzart Pass (2664m) and then cross Kyzyl-Kiya jailoo, an enormous, relatively flat sea of grass. Continue over the Chaar-Archa Pass (3 061 m) into the Chaar-Archa Valley. After lunch cross the river and follow the trail over hills to Kilemche Jailoo. Dinner and accommodation in local Shepperd’s’ Yurt Inn. Meals: full board
Kelimchi valley – Son-Kul Lake (5-6 hrs horse riding)
After breakfast riding to Jalgyz Karagai pass (3400 m), over the Son-Kul Mountains and into the lake’s basin. The morning climb affords wonderful views of Kilemche jailoo, and the pass itself is rocky and exciting. After lunch at Jaman Echki, follow the lakeshore east to the yurt at Batai Aral. Upon arrival, meet your host family of Kyrgyz shepherds in Son-Kul Lake. Free time. Dinner and overnight are in a yurt camp. Meals: full board
Son-Kul lake - Tamchy (250km,5-6 hrs)
Breakfast. Transfer to Tamchy village, northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake via Kochkor. On the way visit handicraft and souvenir shop in Kochkor. Lunch in Kochkor in family guesthouse. Then continue drive to Tamchy along the north shore of the Issyk Kul Lake, the second largest alpine lake in the world (1608 m). Rest on the beach. Dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.

Tamchy –Bishkek (230km,3,5 hrs.)
Breakfast. Rest on the beach. Transfer to Bishkek. Check-in to a hotel. Rest. Last moment shopping. Dinner in local restaurant. Overnight in a hotel. Meals: breakfast
Bishkek- Airport (35km,40 min)
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport “Manas”. Departuree. Meals: breakfast

Notes
- The offered program can be conducted from early June till end September
- The horse-riding program must be order in advance at least 7 days before arrival dates. Otherwise, we can guarantee arrangement of the horse-riding tour for such long days.
- Weather in the mountain even in August is quite cold at night and it is highly recommended to have warm clothes and raincoat.
- Four- and Five-star accommodation in available by request. The price of the program will be change accordingly.
